The role will be based full time in the office in Birmingham (Quinton Business Park).
What you’ll be doing:
- Receive information from various sources about incidents on the Strategic Road Network (SRN), assess details and create/manage events on the National Traffic Information Service system.
- Manage NTIS-generated events.
- Assist customers by setting Variable Message Signs (VMS) across the SRN.
- Monitor traffic data to detect current events.
- Validate and manage automated roadwork events.
- Keep stakeholders informed in line with agreed procedures.
