Protect our communities against cyber threats.

Join the East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU) as a Cyber Protect Officer and help the region stay one step ahead of cyber threats. You'll provide trusted cyber security advice, responding proactively and reactively to emerging and current threats to reduce the risk of harm and prevent future criminality.

What you'll be doing

  • Understanding threat using intelligence and contributing to situational awareness.
  • Promoting national materials and campaigns in support of cybercrime and fraud reporting.
  • Develop partnerships and work with organisations to review and recommend actions to build cyber capabilities and reduce cyber threats.

You must have

  • Experience providing cyber security and mitigation advise to others.
  • Previously managed cyber incidents and implemented systems that comply with legal requirements.
  • Worked in partnership with others on shared aims including on-scene management experience.
