About the role
The main purpose of the Learning & Development Assistant is to support the effective delivery and administration of Share’s learning and development services, whilst also acting as a key support function across the organisation. The role encompasses various responsibilities, including administrative management of training courses, qualifications, Modern Apprenticeships, customer communication and general organisational support.
Main tasks of the role
- Organising and scheduling training sessions, meetings and events.
- Overseeing customer bookings for training and events.
- Maintaining accurate records related to training, qualifications, participants, and resources.
- Setting up and maintaining learner records across internal and external systems including LMS platforms, Turnitin and various awarding body systems.
- Facilitating in‑person training at our Share offices.
- Liaise with and provide relevant reports for all accrediting bodies in line with Frameworks, contract rules, timescales and other requirements including external audit.
- Providing a first point of contact for our customers by answering phones and managing email inboxes.
- Overseeing the smooth operation of our office space.
- Carry out any other tasks that may be reasonably required.
Responsibilities of the role
- Ensure on‑going contact with accredited course candidates, ensuring logging of, and turnaround of, assignments within timescales with accurate records kept.
- Ensure the seamless delivery of daily operations, including the coordination of training programs and maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of training processes and efficiency.
- Build relationships with customers, learners, trainers, and internal teams.
- Promote Share membership, products and services.
