We are looking for experienced tutors to join our bank staff. We provide training courses for adults with learning disabilities and autism across a range of creative, practical and academic subjects including Art, Textiles, Digital Skills, Maths, English and Independent Living Skills.
Contract & Compensation
- Contract type: Bank staff
- Salary: £18.47 per hour (£16.48 per hour plus £1.99 in lieu of annual leave)
- Working hours: Flexible bank work, "as and when"

Responsibilities
As a bank worker, you will provide cover during staff absence across our different courses. Your main responsibilities include:
- Supporting learning, encouraging and supervising adults with learning disabilities and autism in a range of classroom, creative and practical activities to develop skills, confidence and independence, and ultimately help them gain relevant qualifications.
- Delivering sessions using prepared lesson plans, supporting students to understand and engage with the learning activities.
- Providing inclusive support, encouraging students to work at their best and stay motivated and engaged with the tasks at hand.
Requirements
We are ideally looking for people who have experience delivering teaching or training and who feel confident working across a range of subjects. A flexible approach and a can-do attitude are essential. Because this role provides cover across multiple projects, you should be comfortable following lesson plans and adapting your teaching style to suit different subjects and student needs.
