Main responsibilities

  • Develop, plan and deliver a curriculum of music activities to support students’ learning goals and social development.
  • Develop and source resources for delivery, including making effective use of our state-of-the-art Immersive Learning Space.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Creative Programmes Team to develop our creative offering.

Qualifications

  • Experience of providing training or music therapy to adults with a learning disability or autistic adults.
  • Skilled in one or two instruments and able to plan sessions that cover a range of different music genres.
  • Excellent problem solver with a creative and exploratory approach.
  • Passionate about helping disabled people enjoy more autonomy and understand how to make this happen.

Working Hours

22.75 hours per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday with an additional planning day every four weeks, which can be worked as agreed with your line manager.

Requirements

This job is subject to two satisfactory references, evidence of qualifications, an enhanced DBS check and providing evidence of the right to work in the UK.
