About Us: The Library of Things movement is growing around the world, but Share Bristol is proudly independent and rooted right here in our community. We want everyone in Bristol and South Gloucestershire to have easy access to the Things they need, without having to buy them new. Whether it's a drill for a DIY project, camping gear for your next adventure, kitchen gadgets for a special meal, or party kits for those moments worth celebrating, we're here to help you borrow instead of buy. It's simple: Borrow what you need. Return when you're done. Save money and space. We're a charity run largely by volunteers who believe in the power of sharing. Every time you pick up or drop off an item, you'll be greeted by a friendly face. Our annual membership means you can borrow as much as you like, without worrying about extra fees piling up.
About you and the role: If you're a creative marketer who loves getting stuck in and making a real difference, this could be just your thing. We're looking for a marketing all rounder to join us on a part-time, 9 month maternity cover (10–12 hours per week), working closely with our Trustee in charge of marketing. One day you might be scheduling social media posts or updating the website, the next you could be designing leaflets and posters using our templates or helping out at events to promote the charity in the community. This is a varied and exciting role where no two weeks will feel the same. It's perfect if you want to build experience, fit meaningful work around other commitments, and use your skills to support a charity that cares about people and the planet. You'll have support on hand, plenty of scope to bring your ideas, and the satisfaction of seeing your work help us reach more people, save resources and do more good.
