Chester Road Day Nursery are looking for a new Childcare Apprentice. You will be studying toward your Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship L2. We are looking for a passionate, hardworking and dedicated individual who has the drive to create a stimulating, challenging, warm and friendly environment that supports children in their next steps and their development holistically. Our aim is to support learners to become confident in their role by giving them the necessary training and mentorship.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a key worker for a set amount of key children
- Observation & supervision of children
- Learning how to run a room effectively
- Working in partnership with parents and carers
- Providing and promoting healthy snacks
- Providing an enriching learning environment
- Safeguarding children
- Basic cleaning: hoovering, mopping, washing up
