Kindergarten Group are looking for 2 new Nursery Assistant Apprentices, you will be studying toward your Early Years Educator Level 3. The apprentice will support the delivery of high-quality childcare within the setting, including Before and After School Club provision and holiday clubs for children aged 3–11 years. They will work as part of a supportive and dedicated team to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children. The role involves building positive relationships with children, parents, and carers, as well as working in partnership with external agencies, including the local Family Hub, to support children’s wellbeing and development. The apprentice will contribute to ensuring that all children feel valued, included, and supported to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the care, learning, and development of children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children’s learning and development
- Help to create and maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment, both indoors and outdoors
- Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Support children’s personal, social, emotional, and physical development
- Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care, and outdoor play
- Encourage children’s independence and confidence through play and structured activities
- Promote inclusive practice, equality of opportunity, and respect for diversity
- Work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive working environment
- Follow all safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the welfare of children is always prioritised
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to nursery policies and procedures at all times
