Puddleducks Nursery is looking for a new Nursery Assistant Apprentice. You will be studying toward your Early Years Educator apprenticeship L3.
About the Role
Puddleduck Nursery is a small nursery with a core team of long‑serving experienced staff. We are looking for a Level 2 qualified Apprentice to join our friendly baby team, learning on the job all aspects of care and communication needed to become a versatile practitioner.
Responsibilities
- Work with an experienced baby team to provide and maintain a safe environment for children to learn and thrive.
- Learn and follow care routines for babies and children, including communication, language, repetition and sensory exploration indoors and out.
- Support observation from birth to age 5 and build good relationships with children and parents.
- Read and apply nursery policies, including safeguarding procedures.
- Communicate effectively with children and team members.
- Be involved in all aspects of a busy daily nursery routine.
Qualifications
- Level 2 qualification and apprenticeship acceptance.
