You will collaborate closely with our cloud architects and engineering teams, providing invaluable expertise throughout the design, build, and migration phases of transformational projects. Key responsibilities
- Assess on-premise workloads for cloud readiness
- Design migration strategies to Azure
- Provide technical engineering expertise during the migration process
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for SQL Server IaaS and SQL PaaS design and build activities
- Offer advice and consultancy to customers and project teams
Qualifications
What will you bring to the role?
- Expertise with Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instances
- Hands-on experience with database migration tools like DMA, Azure Migrate, or similar
- Proficiency in SQL Server performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of SQL AlwaysOn Availability Groups and other high availability techniques
- Strong skills in SQL Server backups
- Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) and T-SQL
- You can work independently, managing your own tasks and timelines to meet project goals and client expectations.
- You are comfortable navigating different client environments and adjusting to their unique needs and processes.
- You have a collaborative mindset and enjoy a friendly working environment.
