We are currently looking to employ a highly skilled and experienced Wigs, Hair and Makeup Technician. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will be responsible for:
- Knotting and maintaining wigs and facial hair
- Setting and dressing wigs and facial hair
- Cutting and styling all hair types
- Executing professional makeup looks on all skin tones
With experience in large-scale productions, you will thrive under pressure, demonstrating strong technical ability, speed and creativity. If you have a passion for wigs, hair and makeup, along with excellent hairdressing skills, we would love to hear from you.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years experience working with wigs, hair and makeup in a fast-paced environment on large theatre productions
- Proven ability to make foundations and knot wigs
- A good working knowledge of makeup and its application on all skin tones
- Proven ability of working with all hair textures including preparation for wigs and styling hair for performance
- Hairdressing (cutting and colouring) and barbering skills on all hair types
- Willingness to undergo training as necessary
- Self-reliant with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
