Elwin Street Ltd, an independent publishing company, is offering a three-month freelance internship for a Design and Production Assistant to join its small, creative team in Shoreditch. Working part-time (approx. 3 days per week), you will support the Director in producing illustrated book titles, with responsibilities spanning design, production, and administration.
Tasks include:
- Layout and cover design in InDesign
- Preparing materials for pre-press
- Updating catalogues
- Assisting with editorial support such as picture research
This role is ideal for a recent graduate or emerging designer with strong technical skills and an interest in illustrated publishing. Potential for permanent employment.
Requirements:
- Degree (or equivalent) in Graphic Design
