Bellerby & Co Globemakers is seeking a Junior Watercolour Painter to join its renowned team of artisan globe-makers.
Salary: £25,000–£30,000 pro rata (part-time, permanent).
Working within a specialist studio, you’ll paint bespoke, hand-crafted globes using refined watercolour techniques, ensuring colour consistency and adherence to the company’s distinctive visual style. This role offers in-house training, but requires strong aesthetic judgement, patience, and meticulous precision.
You’ll collaborate with cartographers, globe-makers, and fellow painters while managing detailed, repetitive work under studio time pressures. An ideal role for someone with a deep love of maps, craftsmanship, and fine detail.
- Strong technical experience with watercolours

This is an in-house, part-time position (3 days per week) - 9am - 5.30pm. Starting Salary: London Living Wage.
