For the next possible date we are looking for a Field Service Engineer for UK:
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, save and report failures in the field
- Give maximum technical support to customers to minimize downtimes
- Perform installations independently until final acceptance
- Create professional picture of Flow technical Service in the field
- Give customer start up training and provide safety training for CE-compliancy
- Install waterjet cutting machines mainly in UK and all over European countries if required
- Troubleshoot waterjet machines and components on the telephone and on site
- Provide technical information to customer during installation, training and service visits
- Willingness to mainly travel during the week and change working places by short notice
- Work overtime as necessary, sometimes including weekends
- Stay on site until the problems are solved and job is finished
- Customer orientated decision with a minimum of supervision
Specific knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Deep knowledge in the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic diagnostics
- Professional usage of modern diagnostic tools
- Familiar to use Windows/Office
- Good organizational skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Customer orientated positive attitude
- Flexible in location of work, willing to travel
Qualification/Experience and/or Training:
- Mechanical or electrical engineer, mechatronics engineer, technician, electrician or other qualified job related to manufacturing and technical services within the tooling industry
- At least 3 years work experience with machine tools assembly and startup trainings in the area of motion control systems
- Drivers license
- Fluent in English (written and verbal), any other European language is a big plus
