Exciting and unique chance for an ambitious Senior Account Executive to join a well-established and proudly independent, award-winning agency with unrivalled knowledge and expertise across all channels. Responsibilities will include:
Planning
- Understand and interpret a client media brief across multiple channels
- Put together cross-media plans utilising insight from the client’s data and/or tools & research, demonstrating solid understanding of each metric in the plan
- Regularly recommend relevant tests and opportunities which may be appropriate for your client’s objectives, showing initiative across your clients.
Implementation & Delivery
- Demonstrate an understanding of the process for setting up new channels / media lines
- Build understanding of new media owner platforms and develop relationships to help further the agency, raise profile and challenge industry norms
- Manage the delivery of the campaign, making sure activity appears as anticipated and all value is delivered as per the plan – taking the lead on managing any short-falls.
Reporting & Optimisation
- Daily/weekly/monthly client reports should have insightful supporting commentary and recommendations for ongoing campaign improvements based on the client’s objectives
- Deliver the relevant analysis of specific channels, working with different sized data sets from various sources and understand how different metrics affect different clients and their objectives e.g. volume, efficiency, spend etc.
- Build confidence in presenting results and proposals, in particular to clients and new business prospects
Building Relationships
- Start to take the lead on relationships with clients, media owners and your team
- Clients – build relationships with your clients, growing confidence liaising with them on day-to-day account matters and earning their trust through delivering prompt, high quality work and sharp focus in meetings / on calls
- Media owners – build relationships with key media owners and keep up to date with key developments. This will help ensure good deals for clients and keep us at the forefront of new innovations
- Team – raise your profile in the agency by getting involved on new business or internal initiatives
Experience/Skills required:
- A minimum of 1 year media agency experience within any media discipline will be considered
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills including confident Excel user
- A positive, flexible, can-do attitude
- The ability to coordinate and prioritise a number of tasks at the same time
- A self-motivated and proactive approach
- Confident, approachable, and willing to build strong client relationships
