Responsibilities will include:
Planning
- Understand, interpret and challenge a client\βs biddable media brief
- Work with the wider planning teams to put together intricate paid search and/or paid social plans which compliment the broader media strategy
- Recommend relevant tests and opportunities which may be appropriate for your client\βs objectives
- Forecast results against the client\βs business KPIs
- Help offer advice on best practice creative and tracking set-up in order to measure and fulfil targets
Implementation
- Ensure that the relevant data is made available to measure the effectiveness of a campaign
- Assist with the set-up of campaigns, from keyword research and ad copy writing for PPC through to audience identification and asset implementation for paid social
- Be confident with tagging and tracking best practice, and guiding AEs and SAEs in this process
- Advise on and implement in-channel testing strategies, ensuring accounts are structured in a logical and organised way
- Manage the delivery of campaigns from making sure activity appears as anticipated, that the daily run rate is sustainable for the campaign period and that the client budget is not exceeded
Reporting
- Regular reporting, providing quality and detailed recommendations for campaign optimisations
- Supporting on relevant analysis, working with different sized data sets from various sources and incorporating insight beyond that of linear findings
- Supporting on presenting results, insight and relevant industry updates to clients and clearly articulate opinions and recommendations in meetings
Relationships
- Become a trusted day to day point of contact for your clients, earning their trust through delivering prompt, high quality work and having the confidence to justify recommendations
- Keep abreast of new opportunities which may be relevant for clients and establish relationships with media owners wherever possible
- Build strong communication lines with the wider team, having a strong understanding of what they do and where you may be able to support each other
- Become an integral part of the wider team, from offering to help on a new business pitch to coming up with ideas for the next team social
Driving Progress
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of biddable interfaces (including Google, Bing, Meta) and the details of each platform, seeking the best value for the client at all times and putting forward new and innovative solutions
- Keep the wider team informed of new developments in the digital space and write content for the website where appropriate
Experience/Skills required:
- Digital marketing/media experience with skills in paid search campaigns
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills including confident Excel user
- A positive, flexible, can-do attitude
- The ability to coordinate and prioritise a number of tasks at the same time
- A self-motivated and proactive approach
- Confident, approachable, and willing to build strong client relationships
