My client, a leading, independent media agency is hiring for an Account Executive - this is an exciting and varied opportunity to become a valued and integral member of a dynamic, forward-thinking and successful agency, working across a portfolio of UK and international client accounts. You’ll be expected to help manage a best in class service for clients, and working on media solutions for their business and advertising needs. You’ll support the team, clients, developing strong industry and internal network relationships managing day to day activity.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with creative agencies for advertising copy – ensuring they are aware of deadlines and copy contact details.
- Oversee coordination of creative production alongside the creative agency and suppliers.
- Planning and buying media internationally.
- Source media information, media packs and other information to help the planning process in a timely and efficient manner.
- Develop knowledge and understanding of relevant target audience and clients’ overall business operations and their objectives.
- Develop a good working relationship with client contacts.
- Develop a knowledge of and relationship with the media, to include identifying and understanding the requirements of the target media.
- Developing a good working relationship with the relevant contact at the media.
- Book schedules where approved by clients under the supervision of the account director, this may involve negotiation.
Qualifications
- Possess administrative experience in an office based environment.
- Have a genuine interest in joining a fast moving, busy media agency.
- Possess excellent organisational skills along with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Competent in Excel and Powerpoint.
- Be hungry to learn every new media channel and developments for all media channels.
- Be curious about the worlds of business, audiences, marketing, communications and media.
- Educated to degree-level.
Benefits
The successful candidate can expect a highly competitive starting salary (£26,500-£28,500 based on experience), + bonus + benefits. This role will be based in the Central London HQ 2-3 days week. Please note candidates must have the right to work in the UK as this role is not able to offer sponsorship.
