We are excited to be hiring an experienced Associate Account Director for our client, a unique independent agency that has experienced excellent growth in the last two years.
From the outset you will be planning and buying media across digital channels and in time TV, Outdoor, Radio always underpinned by audience insight. Every day is different – as an early-stage agency they are turning their hands to numerous challenges which means a role with endless variety, while also becoming an integral part of your client’s marketing team, setting out to be your clients’ most trusted collaborator. You will also be working directly with the founders of the agency so you will have access to decades of media and advertising experience.
General requirements:
- Extensive experience in digital marketing at a media agency – performance/acquisition focused, but also with a good understanding of how to deliver brand-awareness campaigns.
- You have a strategic point of view of how to use the combination of levers – bid objective, audience, creative, format and more, available in digital platforms to deliver client objectives.
- An interest in learning and increasing your expertise in offline media planning, bonus if you already have exposure to that but not essential.
- Comfortable talking about the strengths and weaknesses of media channels or online platforms and steering clients to the right solution for their objective.
- Ability to recommend and implement measurement and A/B testing frameworks.
- Enthusiasm for learning new skills, and platforms – they are rolling our sleeves up to try new things all the time and you should be excited by the prospect of this.
- Informed point of view about how brands need to act to be more effective in the current brand and media landscape.
Technical skills:
- Set up and management of all digital campaigns entails overseeing setup across various platforms such as Facebook/Meta, Amazon, Google.
- Support campaign setup, encompassing targeting, having a say on creative and copywriting and overseeing budget allocation.
- Understand how to implement tagging for the major platforms.
Remuneration:
Competitive basic salary (up to £55,000) plus bonus.
Flexible working arrangements: this can be either full-time or part-time for someone returning to work, for example for 4 days per week.
