A growing UK SaaS technology company in the energy sector is looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join their engineering team. Their platform supports dozens of energy suppliers and over a thousand brokers across the UK, helping streamline and modernise the energy marketplace.
This is a great opportunity to join a high-impact engineering team where you’ll play a key role in building scalable cloud-based products while helping maintain strong clean code and architecture standards.
The Role
You’ll work across the full stack with a backend focus, building and maintaining scalable services and applications using modern Microsoft technologies and cloud infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing applications using C#, .NET Core, SQL Server, and Azure
- Building REST and GraphQL APIs
- Contributing to the frontend using Angular and TypeScript
- Implementing clean architecture and high coding standards
- Developing scalable, testable services and integrations
- Working in a DevOps environment with CI/CD automation
- Collaborating closely with engineering, product, and QA teams
- Supporting observability, testing, and performance optimisation
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years’ experience in full-stack software engineering
- Strong expertise in C# and .NET Core (backend-led role)
- Experience building RESTful or GraphQL APIs
- Experience deploying applications to Microsoft Azure
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar)
- Knowledge of Angular or similar modern frontend frameworks
- Experience with automated testing and modern development practices
- Strong understanding of clean code and scalable architecture
Nice to Have
- Experience with event-driven architectures or Kafka
- Exposure to microservices or monorepos
- Knowledge of security-by-design or ISO-aligned environments
