Key Responsibilities
- Application Strategy: Define and deliver the enterprise applications strategy, including platform roadmaps, standards and lifecycle governance.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee application performance, availability and support, driving service quality, automation and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner with senior business and technology leaders to translate business needs into effective technology solutions.
- Transformation & Growth: Optimise enterprise platforms, support business growth and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and deliver value.
- People Leadership: Lead, develop and motivate a team of functional and technical specialists.
- Technology & Partners: Work with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity and third-party partners to ensure applications are secure, integrated and fit for purpose.
- Service Management: Embed strong incident, problem and change management practices, ensuring operational resilience and reliability.
About You
- Proven experience leading enterprise applications across multi-business and multi-platform organisations.
- Strong expertise in application strategy, lifecycle management, IT service management and modern cloud/SaaS platforms.
- Experience with enterprise technologies such as Oracle, Dynamics, Infor or SAP.
- A track record of leading teams, managing strategic technology partners and overseeing significant budgets.
- Experience balancing large-scale transformation with operational excellence.
- Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, DevOps and software development lifecycles.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- A collaborative, pragmatic leadership style with excellent communication and decision-making skills.
