We are recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking technology company seeking a D365 Business Central (BC) Support Team Leader to lead and grow a high-performing support team. This is a hands-on role combining technical expertise in D365 BC with strong leadership and team management skills.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of D365 BC support specialists.
- Manage team workload, priorities, and performance to deliver high-quality service.
- Foster a collaborative, solutions-focused environment.
D365 Business Central Support
- Provide second- and third-line support for D365 BC users, troubleshooting functional and technical issues.
- Oversee system configuration, customisation, integrations, and upgrades.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to processes and workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure D365 BC supports business objectives.
Process & Reporting
- Develop and maintain support documentation, knowledge bases, and training materials.
- Monitor support metrics and KPIs, reporting trends, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities to management.
- Implement best practices for incident management, change control, and problem resolution.
Who we’re looking for:
- Proven experience with D365 Business Central, including functional configuration and user support.
- Prior experience managing or leading a support or IT team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with integrations between D365 BC and other business systems is a plus.
- D365 BC workflow automation, reporting, and extensions/customisations.
- Knowledge of ERP processes across finance, sales, purchasing, and supply chain.
- Experience with project management tools and ITSM platforms.
