We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Manager to join our Technical team, taking a leading role in the delivery of residential developments from planning through to completion. Working closely with the Technical Director, you will lead key projects and play a central role in driving technical delivery across multiple schemes. This is a highly autonomous role suited to an experienced and driven Technical Manager who takes ownership, works independently, and maintains momentum across multiple live projects. You will be trusted to lead technical delivery, ensuring coordination, buildability, and compliance are consistently achieved. You will be part of a collaborative, design-led housebuilder where technical quality, attention to detail, and buildability are critical to project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage technical consultants across multiple residential developments
- Coordinate design information through planning, design freeze, and construction stages
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical proposals to ensure buildability, cost efficiency, and compliance
- Identify and resolve design discrepancies and technical issues early
- Manage planning condition discharges and technical approvals
- Oversee utilities coordination including applications, capacity assessments, diversions, and disconnections
- Support and maintain technical specifications in collaboration with Sales and Commercial teams
- Work closely with site teams, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve technical and construction issues
- Prepare technical reports and support project review meetings
- Manage Building Regulations approvals, NHBC registrations, and compliance requirements
- Coordinate CDM duties including pre-construction information, F10s, and H
