We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to take ownership of the delivery of Highbury Works, an exclusive development of 16 homes in Hazlemere, Buckinghamshire.
About Highbury Works: Designed in-house by our architectural team, Highbury Works brings together distinctive architecture, thoughtfully designed layouts and premium specifications throughout. The development comprises six detached and ten semi-detached two-storey homes, offering a collection of two, three and four-bedroom properties ranging from approximately 940 sq ft to 1,600 sq ft. This is an opportunity to lead a high-quality, low-volume development where attention to detail genuinely matters. You will have ownership of the site, overseeing delivery from the early stages of construction through to completion and handover.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, quality-focused and confident in taking ownership, with a genuine pride in delivering homes to the highest possible standard and a commitment to getting things right first time.
What you’ll be doing:

- Site operations: Take ownership of the daily running of the site, coordinating subcontractors, direct labour, materials and resources to ensure an efficient and well-organised operation.
- Health and safety: Maintain the highest standards of health and safety, ensuring compliance with legislation, risk assessments and method statements, while promoting a strong culture of safety and accountability.
- Build quality: Drive quality throughout every stage of construction, from groundworks through to final completion and handover.
- Team leadership: Provide clear direction to the site team and subcontractors, setting high standards and creating a positive, professional working environment.
- Coordination: Work closely with Construction, Technical, Commercial, Sales and Customer Service teams to ensure the smooth delivery of each home.
- Customer journey: Support the Sales and Customer Service teams with customer choices, extras, inspections and handovers, ensuring the finished product meets the high standards our customers expect.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- You will be an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in residential housebuilding, ideally with experience delivering high-specification or premium developments.
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within residential housebuilding.
- A strong track record of delivering high-quality developments from start to finish.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the confidence to take ownership of a site.
- A thorough understanding of health and safety legislation and best practice.
- The ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- First Aid at Work qualification.
- Most importantly, you will take genuine pride in your work. You will be someone who notices the details, sets high standards and understands that delivering an exceptional home is about getting the fundamentals right at every stage.
What we offer:
- You’ll join a financially strong, privately owned business with a reputation for quality, where people are trusted to take ownership and make a real contribution.
- Competitive salary and car allowance.
- Discretionary build bonus scheme.
- Enhanced pension scheme via salary exchange.
- Private medical cover with BUPA.
- 25 days’ annual leave, increasing to 30 days.
- Life assurance.
- A comprehensive range of wellbeing benefits, including on-demand GP access, fitness classes, discounted gym membership, Employee Assistance Programme and cycle to work scheme.
- Retail and lifestyle discount scheme.
- Regular company and team events throughout the year.
- The opportunity to lead a distinctive, high-quality development with a well-established regional housebuilder.
