Shanly Finance, a leading independent principal lender providing funding to SME property developers, is looking for a skilled and proactive Deal Manager to join our team. This is a remote-based role with regular travel to client sites and development projects. You will manage client relationships, assess development proposals, and ensure deals align with our lending criteria.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and grow relationships with current property developer clients.
- Seek out and engage new SME property development clients in line with our funding criteria.
- Evaluate and structure development loan proposals.
- Conduct site visits and client meetings across the South East (especially Surrey, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire).
- Collaborate with our internal credit and operations team to ensure smooth deal flow and communication.
- Provide insight into market conditions and competitor activity.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in property development lending or strong background in property finance.
- Clear understanding of residential and mixed-use property development.
- Confident communicator who can manage deals from introduction to funding.
- Highly organised, proactive and commercially minded.
- Must have a valid UK driving licence and own vehicle to visit clients and development sites.
- Ideally based within easy reach of Surrey, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, or surrounding areas.
- Be part of a growing, privately funded lender with a strong reputation in the SME property development sector.
