Shanklin Town Council is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Library Co-ordinator to help shape the future of our much-loved community library.
Hours: Part-time 22.5 hours over 3.5 days including Saturday
Salary: £29,540 Pro rata
Holidays: 20 days plus Bank holidays, plus days between Christmas & New Year
Location: Shanklin Community Library, Falcon Cross Road, Shanklin, IW PO37 6PG
About the Role:
You will be the friendly face of our library, ensuring it runs smoothly day-to-day. Duties include managing volunteers, organising events, maintaining stock, and supporting visitors of all ages to enjoy and benefit from our services.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has excellent organisational and communication skills
- Enjoys working with people of all ages
- Is confident using IT and library systems
- Can work independently and as part of a team
