The Role
This is a maternity cover role (12 months), joining at an exciting time as Holland & Barrett continues its digital transformation. With scale, ambition, and a growing share of the UK's online wellness market, we are building a smarter, more connected business. We are launching our affiliate marketing programme from the ground up and need someone who can take ownership, continue shaping it, grow it, and make it perform. We are looking for someone who has done this before—someone who knows how to turn affiliate marketing into a serious revenue stream. You will be the architect, the operator, and the face of affiliates at Holland & Barrett. If you want a blank canvas and the backing to do it right, this is it.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
- Building the whole thing – strategy, structure, roadmap, and tech. You’ll choose the networks, set the targets, and define what good looks like.
- Partnering with wellness, health, and lifestyle affiliates who actually move the needle. You’ll recruit, negotiate, and nurture.
- Driving performance – setting commercial goals, tracking ROI, and optimising campaigns to deliver incremental revenue.
- Collaborating across Digital – Paid Media, SEO, CRM, Trading, Brand, Finance – you’ll ensure affiliates are part of the bigger growth picture.
- Innovating – testing new models, exploring automation, and scaling internationally. You’ll bring fresh thinking and make it stick.
- Getting TikTok Shop working for affiliates – finding the right creators, building smart partnerships, and ensuring the numbers stack up.
- Ensuring affiliate content actually gets seen – optimising listings, partner pages, and product links so they show up, get clicked, and convert.
How We'll Know You're Making An Impact
- Affiliate revenue is growing – with profitable, incremental sales.
- ROI is strong and partners are delivering real value.
- The programme is scalable, structured, and integrated across markets and categories.
- Reporting is tight, payments are accurate, and stakeholders aren’t chasing updates.
- You’re seen as the go-to person for affiliates – internally and externally.
The Person
What you need
- You’ve built and scaled programmes before – not just managed someone else’s.
- You know your way around networks, publishers, influencers, and tech platforms.
- You’re commercially sharp – you can negotiate deals and build commission models that work.
- You’re data-driven, strategic, and know how to influence senior stakeholders.
- You’re organised, entrepreneurial, and ready to own a function.
You want to know what’s in it for you. Here’s a taste:
- The salary is competitive and reflects your impact.
- 25 days of holiday + 8 Bank holidays.
- 25% staff discount across our range – plus free online delivery – so you can live the wellness you help deliver.
- Pension contributions – because future-you deserves a break.
- Free wellness diagnostic tests – knowing your health is the first step to improving it.
- Exclusive discounts on wellness services, gym memberships, and more.
- Perks from other retailers – discounts, advice, and savings from brands you actually use.
- A culture of wellbeing – from mental health support to menopause coaching, we’re serious about helping you feel your best.
