We are looking for a hands-on and proactive Senior IT Executive to manage and support IT infrastructure, systems, and user operations across project sites and office environments. This role will play a key part in ensuring stable, secure, and efficient IT operations, while supporting business continuity and on-site users.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and maintain network infrastructure at project sites, including on-site installation, configuration, and maintenance of switches, routers, and firewalls to ensure reliable connectivity across site and office environments.
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, systems, and network services to ensure performance, availability, and reliability.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues, including cross-site and regional connections.
- Support IT security practices including VPN, access control, endpoint protection, and system patching.
- Execute data backup, disaster recovery, and support IT compliance and audit requirements (e.g. system logging, basic ISO standards).
- Perform system administration for Windows/Linux servers and support business applications (e.g. ERP, CRM, email systems).
- Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and access-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Manage IT service requests and maintain proper tracking and documentation of issues and solutions.
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers to support IT operations, maintenance, and project requirements.
- Support system upgrades, process improvements, and basic automation initiatives where applicable.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, network, or system support roles.
- Hands-on experience in network setup, system administration, and end-user support.
- Comfortable working in project site environments and handling on-site IT issues.
- Familiar with IT security practices and basic compliance requirements.
- Able to work independently and respond effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and network equipment (e.g. Huawei, Cisco).
- Experience with Windows Server, Linux, and basic virtualization technologies.
- Exposure to scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Python) for automation.
- Experience managing vendors or working with external service providers.
- Prior experience supporting construction or multi-site environments is an advantage.
