Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and review engineering designs, drawings, and technical submissions for renewal and maintenance works.
  • Ensure all designs and site works comply with project specifications, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide technical solutions and support during design coordination and construction execution.
  • Develop and review method statements, inspection plans, and quality documentation.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify quality, safety compliance, and adherence to design intent.
  • Monitor project progress and support the Head of Engineering & Renewal in technical reporting.
  • Evaluate tenders, variations, and technical proposals to ensure engineering accuracy and feasibility.
  • Mentor and guide site engineers and junior staff to strengthen overall technical capability.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 6–10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure renewal, maintenance, or construction, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead engineering capacity.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of rehabilitation and renewal methodologies. Familiar with materials testing, asset inspection, and condition assessment. Knowledge of monitoring instrumentation, digital twins, or asset management systems preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership and analytical skills. Excellent coordination and stakeholder management abilities. Clear communication and proactive problem-solving mindset.
