The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Global Brand Marketing Manager, Director of Marketing and the General Manager to plan and maintain the brand identity through strategic planning and activation. The role requires organisation, flexibility, and creativity. The Marketing Manager will report directly to the Global Brand Marketing Manager, Director of Marketing and the General Manager. Knowledge and interest in the F&B, brand, and marketing industries are essential with a willingness to learn more.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creating content brief for any marketing activation
- Conceiving and proposing to the Global Brand Marketing Manager a marketing calendar with a localised approach
- Supporting the execution of activations in the restaurant
- Taking full ownership of overseeing events, treating them as a professional mission while keeping the global brand marketing manager informed and engaged
- Assisting and supporting the Global Brand Marketing Manager in charge of private dining events (PDR), offering help with resources like flowers and menu design
- Conceiving and proposing to the Global Brand Marketing Manager a social media calendar with a localised approach
- Overseeing strategic digital campaigns to drive awareness, build brand equity and convert prospective guests to loyal guests
- Liaising closely with the brand team and the operation team to create a strong channel of communication
- Assisting in the development of all brand collaterals
- Maintaining tone of voice across all brand touch points on digital and local platforms
- Responding to DMs across all platforms from guests
- Managing Graphic Design, PR agency, and Digital Marketing Agency to deliver tailor-made results that actively drive brand equity and visibility
- Keeping a close record of challenges and achievements through monthly reporting
- Working closely with the Brand Manager to ensure brand standards are consistently met
- Coordinating photoshoots and videoshoots
- Monthly BRM reports with social media, PR and digital marketing inclusions
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- 4-5 years experience in Brand/Marketing (experience within the F&B industry is preferred)
- Working proficiency in the language of their environment
- Hospitality/F&B background
- Understanding of London F&B scene
- Keen interest in high-end, fine-dining restaurant
- Finger on the pulse of what is current culturally, socially, and especially in the dining scene of their respective country
- Capacity to work autonomously
- Experience in working with operations team (FOH and BOH)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Very organised, well spoken, patient, hospitable, creative, passionate, positive mindset
- Able to work effectively on their own and as part of a global team
- Able to work under pressure
- Eye for quality and detail
- Experience in content creation, digital marketing, events management, budgeting, reporting, account management, overseeing external agencies to the highest standard
- Self-starter with solution-driven mindset
- Educational background in marketing preferred
- Excellent social media skills/content creation and knowledge of Microsoft Office/Mailchimp/Canva
- Confident in spoken and written English
