Designer Parfums / Shaneel Group is a fast-growing company in the perfume and cosmetics industry. Brands we operate include GHOST, ARIANA GRANDE, JENNIFER LOPEZ, CERRUTI, PLAYBOY, AIGNER, PORSCHE DESIGN and many more.
JOB PURPOSE
Ensure the business area meets its key business and talent needs through the sourcing and hiring of high-quality, high-potential, and high-performing talent. This is a hybrid role that requires working 4 days from our office in Watford and 1 day from home.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own all hiring activity across the business area, utilising ‘direct hire’ methodology wherever possible to meet the business need.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle from interpreting needs through to closing offers.
- Source ‘hard to find’ candidates through exploiting full range of direct channels, including social media, job boards, referrals etc.
- Utilise social media (e.g. LinkedIn) and build talent pipelines to develop attraction and support the delivery of diverse talent to fulfil the current and future resourcing needs.
- Develop strategies to attract key talent from appropriate source organisations.
- Prepare candidate marketing materials, posting vacancy details in selected media and pre-screening.
- Oversee the end-to-end candidate experience, ensuring the employer brand image is consistent for each candidate.
- Guide candidates through the recruitment journey to optimise their experience and maximise close rates.
- Coach and provide advice to hiring managers on recruitment policies and procedures, best practice selection process, competency frameworks and interview techniques.
REQUIREMENTS/ EXPERIENCE
- Graduate calibre, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience of working in an in-house / agency recruitment environment (ideally within FMCG or other fast-paced, customer‑centric business).
- Strong experience of a ‘direct hire’ approach.
- Knowledge of legislation that impacts the recruitment process (e.g. right to work requirements).
- Demonstrable experience of identifying and implementing improvements to recruitment processes.
- Stakeholder management and communication – depth of experience of building strong relationships with a diverse stakeholder group including senior stakeholders.
- Strong ability to plan and prioritise a considerable and varied workload and ensure effective delivery to deadline.
