Located in Victoria, London, this new site brings diners back to the 1960s Shanghai era, offering high-quality, culinary sophistication with a playful, casual dining experience. As a Commis Waiter/Waitress, you will play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable guest experiences and ensuring our operations run smoothly. You will also:
- Ensure pass/waiter stations are all stocked up with mise en place during opening, ready for service.
- Verify the accuracy of orders before delivery, ensuring that each plate matches the customers' order.
- Quickly and accurately deliver food orders from the kitchen/pass to customers' tables.
- Act as a liaison between the kitchen and waitstaff, communicating any special requests or modifications.
- Support servers by helping to clear tables, refill drinks, and provide additional items to customers as needed.
- Keep the dining area clean and organized by removing used plates, glasses, and utensils promptly.
- Ensure tables are properly set up with necessary utensils, condiments, and clean tableware.
- Polish cutleries and crockery with care to ensure sufficient quantities during service.
- Ensure that serving stations are stocked with essential supplies such as napkins, cutlery, and condiments during service hour.
- Responsible for ensuring the guest washrooms are clean, neat and tidy with sufficient supplies.
- Check and maintain cleanliness of the restaurant stairs.
- Ensure the pass/waiter stations are clean and tidy with all mise en place stored away accordingly during closing shift.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer requests promptly and courteously.
