Shakti Womens Aid in the City of Edinburgh is seeking a dedicated support worker to assist Black and Minority Ethnic women and their children experiencing domestic abuse. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in one of the BME community languages such as Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi or Mandarin.
The successful applicant will bring a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with BME communities and have a robust understanding of the challenges these individuals face, including issues of gender identity and domestic abuse.
