Celebrating Shakespeare is at the heart of everything we do.


We are looking to recruit a part-time Retail Supervisor, working an average of 24.5 hours per week, to join the team at Shakespeare's Birthplace Shop and Bookshop on Henley Street and Anne Hathaway's Cottage in Shottery, both within Stratford-upon-Avon.


Supporting the Retail Manager, you will be a key member of the retail team. Working in a dynamic retail environment, you will be engaging with visitors and customers from around the world.


You will have a passion for retail, experience of working in a busy shop and possess the ability to motivate others to achieve retail targets. You will also have knowledge and experience of merchandising and display. You will have a proactive approach and be an enthusiastic and confident communicator with excellent customer service skills.


The closing date for applications is Sunday 20 September 2026, and interviews will take place on Thursday 24 September 2026, in-person in Stratford-upon-Avon .
