We have an exciting opportunity for a 2-year PQE Solicitor to join our client-focused Trusts and Estates Disputes (TED) team during a period of growth. We are seeking a driven professional who is keen to develop their career within an experienced and fast-growing team. You will play a pivotal role in providing high quality legal services to clients on all aspects of Trusts and Estates Disputes work. Our TED team is one of the largest specialist teams in the country, and deals with all aspects of contentious trusts and probate work, including:
- disputes over wills and trusts
- disputes with executors and trustees
- disputes regarding powers of attorney
- contested Court of Protection applications
We pride ourselves on our technical expertise and resources to deliver the best possible solutions for our clients, which include large household charities, high-net worth individuals and financial institutions.
What you will be doing:
- running your own caseload efficiently and cost-effectively and within strict service level agreements as required by the clients
- assisting senior colleagues on a broad range of TED cases
- advising clients about the strengths and weaknesses of their cases
- handling a caseload of differing complexity
- getting involved in business development activities, both individually and as part of the wider national team
- attending and conducting client meetings
- drafting and preparing court documents in a time-sensitive manner
Working on a hybrid basis ideally this recruit will be based from our Bristol hub, however we will also consider applications from interested parties who have accessibility to our Birmingham, Leicester, Stratford-upon-Avon or Nottingham hubs.
What you will need:
- a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience
- confidence with IT systems
