Do you enjoy keeping a team organised and supporting colleagues to deliver outstanding work? Our Agriculture Team is looking for a Paralegal to provide vital administrative support to the team in Lincoln. Please note: This role is part-time either 2 or 3 days per week. You will work as part of a team to provide support to help our legal teams deliver great service to our clients.
What you will be doing:
- Obtaining property searches
- Downloading, reviewing, and preparing titles/accompanying legal documents
- Producing and collating documentation and correspondence for enquiries, including through dictation
- File openings and managing AML requirements with clients
- Supporting the fee earners in the team in relation to both client facing and management roles
- Attending to clients in person and on the phone taking messages and assisting where appropriate
- Managing the central team in relation to file opening, closure and archiving
- Producing bills and other financial administration
- Photocopying, scanning, faxing, printing, filing and other general administrative tasks
Skills, knowledge & expertise:
- At least 6 months' experience in a Paralegal, legal assistant, or administration assistant role.
- GCSE (or equivalent) grade C/4 or above in English Language and Mathematics
- Confident use of IT systems, including Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel (PowerPoint beneficial)
- Fast, accurate typing skills and strong attention to detail

- Confident interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise openly and clearly with colleagues and clients
- To be able to produce a high standard of work, often to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining accuracy and good attention to detail

- To be able to demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, initiative and self-confidence
