Join our dynamic team as an Accountant where you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation in our professional environment. You will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks to support our clients.
Duties:
- Accounts preparation to CT600 level
- VAT preparation using various software systems
- Personal Tax preparation
- Communication of tax liabilities etc to clients via telephone, email or in person
- Be responsible for meeting deadlines and filing returns
- Clear communication of information with external bodies
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette in handling calls and queries
- Provide general advice to clients as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an Accountancy role, to include VAT, CT600 and Personal Tax
- Computer skills including Iris, Xero, Excel and Sage
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work autonomously and as a team member
- Ability to multitask, prioritise work and manage time effectively
- Strong organisational skills to maintain a structured work environment
