Are you the candidate we are looking for? At Shaftesbury Martello Road we are recruiting for Bank Enabling Support Workers. Please note this role does not qualify for visa sponsorship, as the salary requirements set by the Home Office are not satisfied. We are looking for people with the passion, talent, skills and experience that all add up to a caring and community‑minded workforce.
About The Role
As a Bank Enabling Support Worker it will be your role to provide support and encouragement, by taking direction from both the person supported and the person‑centred support plan. You will be required to maintain accurate records while at work, in line with the service requirements, and you may also be required to administer personal care and medication. There will be the opportunity to cover sleep sessions; you will be paid an additional £60 per sleep session. At Martello Road, Shaftesbury South East provides person‑centred care and support, enabling adults with intellectual and physical disabilities to live as independently as possible. In the Eastbourne area we offer independent living tenancy in shared houses with some communal space, and we support customers in their own homes.
