An opportunity has arisen for an experienced, creative, reflective and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our interdisciplinary team and lead the OT department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience and interest in working in the field of Acquired Brain Injury.
Shaftesbury Icanho is a highly specialist, community-based brain injury rehabilitation service with its base in Stowmarket, Suffolk. The service is run by the national charity Shaftesbury, and commissioned by the local ICBs.
The interdisciplinary team (IDT) at Shaftesbury Icanho works with adults who have had an acquired brain injury, including traumatic brain injury, stroke, infection, hypoxia and tumour. The IDT is a highly skilled, warm and friendly team of Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Clinical Psychologists, Social Workers and Rehabilitation Assistants.
Our clinical work is undertaken in a highly integrated way, with Occupational Therapy an integral and valued part of that team.
