About the role

As a Registered General Nurse you will be required to hold a valid NMC Pin and provide the details to Shaftesbury.

Your duties will include ensuring the highest standard of clinical care is provided to all people supported.

You will be involved in assessments, medication administration, care planning implementation and evaluation.

You will provide nursing support to those with complex needs in a residential community care home.

This role is located at Kenway Court, a residential, community-focused care home in Southend-on-Sea.

Please note this role does not qualify for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical nursing care to people with intellectual and physical disabilities.
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medication safely and accurately.
  • Implement and evaluate care plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and support staff.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) – valid NMC Pin.
  • Experience working in community or residential care settings, preferably with people with complex needs.
  • Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Subject to an enhanced DBS/Access NI check.
