Shaftesbury School is seeking an experienced teacher for a permanent, full-time Head of Design and Food Technology post. The role carries strategic leadership across both curriculum areas, overseeing how they are developed and delivered. It also includes teaching across Key Stages 4 and 5 in a school with a growing sixth form. Visa sponsorship is not available, so candidates must already have the right to work in the UK, with a start in January 2027.
What the job involves

- Carry out safeguarding responsibilities, which may include first aid and supporting a distressed pupil
- Have day-to-day contact with young people
