At Shaftesbury North East, we are looking for a dedicated and motivated Enabling Support Worker to join our Complex Care Service. We are looking for someone with a sense of fun, to help make a real difference to the lives of the people we support every day. Knowledge of the local area would be advantageous.
About You
- A minimum of 12 months' experience supporting people with complex needs, learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours of concern within a supported living environment.
- NVQ/QCF level 2 or a desire to work towards the qualification while working.
- A person-centred approach and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding support.
About the Role
As an Enabling Support Worker, it will be your role to provide support and encouragement, by taking direction from both the person supported and the person centred support plan. You will be required to maintain accurate records while at work, in line with the service requirements. You may also be required to administer personal care and medication. There may be a requirement to cover sleep-in sessions. You will be paid an additional £60 per sleep in.
