Are you the candidate we are looking for? At Shaftesbury Next Steps we are recruiting for a Team Leader. Please note this role does not qualify for visa sponsorship, as the service is not registered with CQC as per the guidelines set by the Home Office.

About the role

As a Team Leader it will be your duty to oversee the day to day running of the service. This will include supporting the staff team and the people supported. We are looking for candidates who have obtained a NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or are willing to work towards this qualification. As a Team Leader you will be required to be part of the On Call rota for the service. You will be paid an additional £10 per session.

Next Steps is a day centre that supports young adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to learn and develop life-skills and build confidence. Our caring and friendly staff encourage people we support to participate in various activities that challenge them to reach their full potential. Activities that include arts & crafts, sport, fitness and wellbeing, and gardening and horticulture.
