We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical & Mechanical Project Manager to oversee complex commercial and industrial projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring all work adheres to safety and quality standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead innovative projects within a dynamic environment, requiring strong leadership, organisational skills, and technical expertise in electrical and mechanical systems.
Duties
- Lead and coordinate electrical and mechanical engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
- Develop detailed project plans using Primavera P6, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to define project requirements and specifications.
- Monitor progress through regular site visits and meetings, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage procurement processes, including tendering, contract negotiations, and supplier relationships.
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports and documentation for stakeholders.
- Utilise effective time management techniques to prioritise tasks and meet critical deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing electrical and mechanical engineering projects within the construction or industrial sectors.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 for project scheduling and management.
- Experience with Civil 3D software for civil design coordination is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management capabilities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Relevant qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
