Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Manager to oversee and manage the business development, strategy implementation, sales and performance management of our SGX FX global operations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic growth of our business through ensuring that SGX FX focuses on our global market expansion. This role reports directly to the SGX FX Chief Operating Officer (COO) and is part of the central management team.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy and Business Development
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve our long-term goals and objectives
- Collaborate with the executive team to align operational activities with the company’s strategic vision
- Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
Sales and Performance KPI Management
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies including client engagement plans, sales and account planning process to achieve business objectives and revenue targets
- Translate business goals into defined action plans and targets
- Establish performance measurements framework to measure achievement success
- Generate business intelligence and data analytics to enable decision making – Include sales performance on KPI achievement and areas for improvement
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to implement robust sales and client acquisition processes – Include contracting and clients’ Request for Proposal (RFP) and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) processes
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders with the aim to ensure continuous improvement in customer satisfaction
Controls environment to address business risks for regulated businesses
- Maintain control environment to address business risks and to ensure compliance with rules, regulations, legal requirements – Include ensuring that internal policies and procedures reflect changes in regulations and effectively communicated and enforced across the regulated business
- Drive the operationalization of newly set-up Multilateral Trading Facility in EU and UK
- Identify and manage regulatory and compliance risks associated with running MTF business
Requirements
- Minimum 7 – 10 years of experience in business management or consultancy
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning, sales and performance KPI management
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations in the Netherlands and the UK
- Proven ability in lead and manage cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
