Needing an apprentice with at least one year experience in the trade to join our team. Small company which is mainly electrical installations. All local work undertaken. Very friendly and helpful team.
Wage: £15,704 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age. National Minimum Wage rate for apprentices.
Training course: Installation and maintenance electrician (level 3)
Hours: Work Monday - Friday - attend college 1 day per week at SGS College Horizon 38 Construction Centre. Working hours between 7.30am - 4.00pm. 40 hours a week.
Duration: 4 years 6 months
Work: Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work: An electrical apprentice will be working on jobs such as:
- Extensions
- Always working with a qualified electrician

Training: Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

Comply with all relevant legislation: including environmental regulations, codes of practice and other relevant information and guidance when planning and performing electrical work in industrial, commercial, and residential environments.
Requirements:
- GCSE in Maths and English (grade A*-C or 4-9*)
- Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
