Location: Albrighton

Salary: £36,231 – £40,640 including up to 4 sleep‑ins per month (base £30,991 – £35,400)

Working Hours: Full‑time, rota‑based; occasional sleep‑ins required

Hourly Rate: Based on salary and sleep‑ins

Number of Sleeps Required: Up to 4 per month

Pay Per Sleep: ÂŁ80 per sleep

Service: Children’s Home – SEMH / Therapeutic Residential Care

Service Users: Children & Young People with SEBD, emotional and behavioural difficulties

Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent); support provided to achieve Level 3 if not held

Experience in Years Required: Experience in residential childcare preferred, particularly with SEBD

Employment Type: Full‑time, Permanent

  • Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted-registered Children’s Home will not be considered.

  • Can build trusting, therapeutic relationships with children
  • Supports young people’s emotional, behavioural, and social development
  • Provides leadership to the staff team, stepping in to deputise for Team Leaders
  • Demonstrates empathy, patience, and resilience
  • Can work on a rota, including sleep‑ins
  • Holds a Full UK Driving Licence
