About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and qualified Registered Manager to join our rapidly expanding organisation. Our homes provide a safe and supportive environment for children and young people, and we are committed to delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service Management: Manage the residential home efficiently, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and the Statement of Purpose.
  • Staff Support: Provide guidance to the team to achieve the highest standards of care for young people.
  • Recruitment & Induction: Oversee the recruitment, vetting, and induction of new team members.
  • Training & Development: Contribute to a comprehensive training programme to equip the team with the necessary skills.
  • Retention & Support: Promote staff longevity by supporting and developing a well-functioning team.
  • Multi-disciplinary Liaison: Liaise with internal and external teams to meet the care needs of the young people.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Take accountability for maintaining compliance with Ofsted regulations and manage registration requirements.
  • On-call Duty: Participate in the on-call system as required.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (or willingness to work towards it).
  • Experience: Previous experience at a senior level in a residential children's home.
  • Driving Licence: Full manual driving licence.
  • Professional Development: Commitment to ongoing learning and development.
