Location: Preston

Salary: Approx. £35,075 per annum including 11 sleep-ins per month

Hourly Rate: £14.67 per hour

Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week

Employment Type: Permanent

Sleep-ins: Approx. 11 sleeps per month paid at £30 per sleep-in

Service: Children’s Home

Service Users: Young people aged 8–18 with complex needs and behaviours

Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare preferred or willingness to work towards qualifications

Experience Required: Experience within an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home preferred

The Home

Our client’s home provides a nurturing and supportive environment where children and young people feel safe, valued, respected, and encouraged to grow. The team are highly supportive of one another and work collaboratively to help each other develop confidence and skills. The home currently supports one young person who has been in placement for 19 months and has built strong, positive relationships within the service. The focus is centred around emotional wellbeing, education, talents, and life skills development. The staff team are trained in therapeutic parenting and are experienced in supporting children with complex needs and behaviours. A wide range of specialist training is provided to ensure staff can meet individual needs effectively.

Our client is looking for a warm, patient, and resilient Residential Team Leader who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people. You will be someone who can build positive relationships, provide emotional support, and create a safe and homely environment.
