Location: Sway, Lymington

Salary: £32,500 – £35,000 per annum (inclusive of sleep-in allowance)

Working Hours: Full-time, permanent contract

Hourly Rate: Dependent on qualifications and experience

Number of Sleeps Required: 2 per week

Pay Per Sleep: Included within annual salary

Service: Children’s Home

Service Users: YPs aged 5–17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), attachment disorders, and trauma-related needs

Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – must be willing to work towards Level 5 in Leadership & Management

Experience in Years Required: Previous experience working with children in a residential care setting

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Residential Childcare Worker who is passionate about improving the lives of young people. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Level 3 Diploma (or equivalent) in Residential Childcare
  • Experience supporting children with EBD and trauma in a residential setting
  • A valid UK Driving Licence
  • A desire to develop further understanding and practice within PACE and Dyadic Developmental Practice (DDP)
  • The ability to lead and mentor others, support the Registered Manager, and ensure the home continues to provide outstanding care
