Children\’s Home Deputy Manager – Compass Community

Location: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire

Type of YPs: Children and young people with SEMH, trauma, and complex needs

Ratio of staff to children: High staffing to meet individual needs

Who we are looking for…

Experienced, determined, caring, and thoughtful Deputy Manager

Age 22+ to meet Ofsted regulations

Minimum 2 years\’ experience working in residential childcare

NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare

Full UK Manual Driving Licence

Leadership experience: supervising staff, leading shifts, making rotas, leading staff meetings, ensuring placement plans and education support are followed, maintaining policies, procedures, and risk assessments

Ability to create positive, long‐term relationships with children

Committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare

You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have a car

You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (not deemed equivalent)

Candidates with only HealthCare, NHS, CQC, or Nursery Practitioner qualifications

You require sponsorship – no sponsorship available

Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children\’s Home will not be considered.Why work for Compass?
